Is the free plan actually free — no credit card?
Yes. The free plan is genuinely free with no time limit and no credit card required. You get one documentation site with full AI generation, brand extraction, the AI agent, and hosted SSL — no strings attached.
What counts as a "documentation site"?
Each project you create in Docsio is one documentation site. On the free plan you can have one active project at a time. On Pro you can have up to three simultaneously active projects.
Can I use a custom domain on the free plan?
Custom domains are a Pro feature. On the free plan, your docs are hosted on a Docsio subdomain (yourproject.docs.docsio.co). Upgrading to Pro lets you point any domain — docs.yourcompany.com, help.yourproduct.io, etc. — with automatic SSL.
What happens if I cancel my Pro subscription?
If you cancel Pro, your account reverts to the free plan. You'll keep one documentation site and its content, but custom domains will be disconnected. Your docs remain accessible on their Docsio subdomain.
Do you offer discounts for open source projects or non-profits?
