Visitor analytics

Review traffic and engagement for your documentation.

Open your project's analytics view to understand how readers find and use the published documentation. Publish the site and allow real visits to generate data before expecting results.

What you can see

  • Total views and unique visitors.
  • Visitors over time and the most-viewed pages.
  • Top referring sites and countries.
  • Desktop, tablet and mobile traffic.

Use the 7 days, 30 days and 90 days filters to compare periods. Available history depends on the site's access; trial and subscribed sites include the full analytics features.

Turn visits into improvements

Review popular pages for unclear steps and outdated examples. Check whether readers can reach important setup pages from the navigation. Combine traffic trends with support questions rather than guessing why someone left a page.

The dashboard is a traffic view. It does not currently provide a report of every search query or zero-result search. Test those workflows directly using the search checklist.
