Quickstart

The fastest path: paste a URL, watch the AI build, click publish. Five minutes.

1. Sign up

docsio.co/signup. Free, no credit card.

2. Paste your product URL

On the New project screen, paste the URL of your product's website — your homepage, your landing page, anywhere your product is described. Docsio takes it from there.

If you don't have a URL yet, click Upload files instead and skip to From your files.

3. Watch it build

The AI agent will:

  1. Extract your brand — colors, logo, fonts.
  2. Map every page on your site that's relevant to docs.
  3. Scrape the content from those pages.
  4. Plan the documentation structure.
  5. Write every page with real product info.
  6. Build the homepage, footer, and navigation.

You watch this happen live. About five minutes for a typical site.

4. Review and edit

When generation finishes, you land in the editor. The left sidebar shows every page Docsio created. The center is the AI agent — type any change in plain English and the agent makes it. The right is a live preview of your site.

Common first edits:

  • "Update the logo to use the SVG at this URL"
  • "Make the primary color a slightly warmer brown"
  • "Add a page on our pricing under Getting Started"
  • "Rewrite the introduction to be tighter and more direct"

5. Publish

Click Publish in the top-right of the editor. Your site goes live at <your-project>.docs.docsio.co within about a minute.

A real, branded, searchable, mobile-friendly documentation site with:

  • Live editor with AI agent
