Understand public publishing and subscription-related access.
Docsio publishes public documentation. There is no password-protection option for new sites. Only publish information intended for visitors.
Public content
Hiding a link from the navigation does not make its destination private. Do not use a public documentation site to store secrets, private customer information or internal credentials.
Trial and subscription access
When a site's trial or paid access ends, editing is locked and the published site is temporarily taken offline. Its documents remain saved. Subscribing restores access and allows hosting to resume; other paid sites remain available.
Older accounts should follow the access details and any transition notice provided by Docsio. There is no ongoing free plan for new accounts.

This page replaces the former password-protection guidance so existing links lead to the current access information.
