Full-text search
Search the published content of your documentation.
Full-text search finds matching pages and sections in your published documentation. Visitors can use the search control, type a phrase and follow a result to the relevant page.
Enable or disable search
Use Settings → Features → Full-Text Search Bar, save the setting and publish. Current sites use a single built-in search experience, with keyboard navigation and a shortcut shown in the UI.
Keep results current
Publish after adding or editing content to update the live index. Unpublished edits are not live results. Draft and unlisted pages are excluded from the public content pipeline.
Try terms from both page titles and body text. If a useful page is hard to find, add a clear heading or explain the term in context instead of filling the page with repeated keywords.
Existing sites
Older Docsio sites retain their supported search integration. The appearance can differ from current sites, but feature settings and publication status still matter when troubleshooting.
