Inviting members
Pro
Invite teammates to your project so they can edit pages, talk to the AI agent, and publish.
How to invite
Project settings → Team → Invite member.
Enter:
- Email — the email address of the teammate (they'll get an invite link).
- Role — Editor or Viewer (see below).
Click Send invite. The teammate receives an email with a link. They click it, sign up if needed, and they're in.
Roles
| Role | Can do | Can't do |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | Everything (only one per project) | — |
| Editor | Edit pages, run the AI agent, publish | Manage billing, transfer ownership, delete project |
| Viewer | See the editor and live preview, read-only | Edit, publish, or change settings |
Roles can be changed at any time. Promote, demote, or remove from settings → Team.
Free vs Pro
- Free: 0 members. Solo only.
- Pro: unlimited members, no per-seat fee.
Pending invites
Invites that haven't been accepted yet show up in the Team list with a Pending badge. You can:
- Resend the invite (re-emails the teammate the link).
- Cancel (revokes the link if it hasn't been used).
Invites expire after 14 days. Resend if needed.
Removing a member
From the Team list → click the member → Remove from project. They lose access immediately. They're notified by email.
If you remove the project owner... you can't. Transfer ownership first (see Transferring ownership).
Transferring ownership
Project settings → General → Transfer ownership → select another team member (must be a current Editor on the project).
Ownership transfers immediately. The new owner takes over billing, can manage members, and can delete the project. The previous owner becomes an Editor automatically.
The current owner's email is no longer billed for the project.
Common patterns
- Doc team + occasional contributors. Add the doc team as Editors; contributors get one-off invites and removed when their work is done.
- Customer-facing previews. Use Password protection for read access without an account, rather than inviting customers as Viewers.
- Multiple projects. Members are per-project, not per-account. Add the same teammate to multiple projects individually.
Audit
Coming soon: full activity log per project (who edited what, when). For now, version history shows the author of each published version.
