AI chat widget

Enable AI Chat Widget in project settings, then publish. Visitors can ask questions from the widget on the documentation site. Answers use the site's published documentation as context.

The widget works with the Fumadocs template. It is separate from full-text search: search finds pages, while chat helps visitors ask questions about their contents.

Improve answers

Publish accurate, specific documentation. Test questions whose answers appear in your pages, follow the linked sources, and check the response when information is missing. AI responses can be wrong; the widget is not a substitute for reviewing your source material.

If the widget is missing, check the setting, site access and the most recent successful publication. Republish after changing the setting.

All features are included during your seven-day trial and with a $10/month site subscription. Existing grandfathered sites keep their earlier access and limits for now.
