Logo and favicon
Set your site logo and favicon, then check their appearance across devices and color modes.
Use a clear logo and a simple favicon so readers recognize your documentation in the navigation and browser tab.
Logo
Open Settings → General → Logo & Imagery and set Logo URL to a public image address. Save and check the preview. You can also attach a logo to the agent and ask it to use the image in the site.
SVG works well for a crisp logo. For PNG or WebP, use enough resolution for the display size and a transparent background where appropriate. Test both light and dark backgrounds.
The current settings do not include a separate dark-mode logo uploader. If your mark needs a second version, provide both assets and ask the agent to implement the switch in your project.
Favicon
A favicon may be extracted during setup. To replace it, provide a square icon and ask the agent to update the site's favicon. Confirm the result after publishing; browsers can cache tab icons.
A simple shape works better than a detailed wordmark at small sizes. Check the browser tab as well as any larger preview of the image.
Asking the agent
Use the attached logo in the header and this square icon as the favicon. Keep the site name visible and check that both work in light and dark mode.
Common patterns
- Use a compact mark when the site name is displayed beside the logo.
- Keep image URLs stable and publicly accessible.
- Check the navbar on a narrow screen before publishing.
- Keep a copy of your source assets outside the project.
